Creekwood Cares
Creekwood Cares is an extension of the heart of Creekwood Church. Our goal is to connect the needs of people in our community to the abilities of people in our church who are ready to serve. This is not about what we get; it's about what we get to do for others.
What We Do
We strategically support a large number of initiatives on a local, national and global scale. Read more...
Locally
Creekwood Cares assists those in need by providing cooked meals, hospital visitations, and household cleaning and maintenance. Teams of volunteers have rallied to meet these needs on a consistent basis, and the response from those helped is so inspiring!
Currently, we also support community events including the Della D. Icenhower Serum Run, Miles 4 Meredith 5K, the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life, Angel Tree, Coats for Kids, School Supplies for Single Parents, and Water the Homeless.
Nationally
Creekwood Cares supports church planting efforts throughout the country, specifically the Association of Related Churches (ARC). We also support Richard Herman of Chi Alpha (Texas State University).
Globally
We partner extensively with ministries such as: His Hands Taiwan, Howard Nutt & Shalom Es Mi Casa (Bolivia), Mimms and Susan Ward (Hope for Humanity International, Costa Rica), Chris and Lori Moyer (Northern Asia), Gerald Dollar (Ukraine), Al and Laurie Lotz (Worldwide), Randy & Patty Beckham (Calvary International, Costa Rica), Convoy of Hope (Haiti), Ezekiel Joshua (New Hope International, India), Jason Ecksley (Kenya), Peoples Mission International (Worldwide)
